BUCKTHORN BREWING CO.
The branding for Buckthorn Brewing Co. was created as a conceptual product line that was intended to be used as promotional material showcasing shrink sleeve technology at a craft beer show. The direction given for this project was to create "generic" graphics and branding that aligned with the current craft beer market, while incorporating specific colors from the customer's brand guidelines. Aside from those requirements, I was given a fair amount of liberty with the designs. To spark some creativity, I took inspiration from the novel "Watership Down" by Richard Adams, for the imagery and names of the beers.
